Pupil-Led Assemblies
Our Year 6 MPs have had a great start to the term and have been busy settling into their new responsibilities.
This year, our MPs will be involved in the delivery of some of our assemblies. To get them started and to support them with this, they all attended a 'Pupil-Led Assemblies' training session delivered by Picture News, a resource we use in school. The training gave them lots of ideas about what makes a good assembly, how to plan for an assembly and ways to meet and greet the audience.
This week, our first set of MPs undertook the delivery of a Picture News assembly alongside one of our Assistant Headteachers. They all gave up some of their own time to plan for the assembly and then delivered them brilliantly. Well done!
